Good question! This is why we have a (free) phone conversation prior to your first scheduled appointment. This gives both of us an opportunity to ask questions to determine whether we are a good match or not.

Payment is rendered at the end of each session. I accept cash, credit, Venmo, PayPal, and Square. For clients using insurance, co-payments are due at the time of service.

I accept Wellfleet/Cigna, Aetna, and UHC.
For out-of-network benefits, I can provide statements for reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurer before your first visit to confirm coverage by asking:
Do I have mental health benefits?
Are out-of-network providers covered? If so, what is the reimbursement rate?
What is my deductible, and has it been met?
How many sessions are covered per year?

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice by phone or email. Late cancellations will be charged the full session fee, which insurance does not cover.

Telepsychiatry is an excellent way to provide care at your convenience. Utilization of HIPPA protected videoconference is available with similar structure as an in person face-to-face visit. We set an appointment date; you will be provided with a link and live stream interaction begins! It is available for all of the services that I offer to established patients only.

I can collaborate with your therapist to manage your medications alone. First you will need to complete a Release of Information form so that I can contact your provider for coordination of your care.

I provide medication management alone, psychotherapy alone, or a combination of medication management and psychotherapy. All of the options above include recommendations for supplements and other alternative treatments.
